Thé road to registration

Dutch

MRL applications

When crop protection products leave residues on consumption products, Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) need to be determined according to Regulation (EC) 396/2005 before it can be registered according to Regulation (EC) 1107/2009.

MRL applications are set on EU level, proposed by a member state and after advice from EFSA (European Food Safety Authority).

Linge Agroconsultancy gives advice on the studies required for an MRL application. In addition we can compose and submit the registration dossier (residue definition, evaluation of residue studies, MRL calculation and Public health risk assessments) for you.
